A Fur-Ever Home

San Juan Animal League has moved into our new building located at 201 E. Maple Street, Farmington, NM   87401.

San Juan Animal League has been serving the needs of San Juan County pet owners since 1973. The demand for our services has grown steadily. In 2017 alone, we administered 4902 vaccinations and placed 199 pet microchips. The county’s tremendous support in housing our operations at McGee Park has come to an end, and the SJAL board sees benefits to establishing a permanent location. We are ready for a fur-ever home!

  • Area to host mobile spay/neuter clinics

  • TNR (trap neuter return) location for drop off and return of feral cats with storage for traps

  • Space for educational events/information for pet owners and schools

  • Center for distributing legislative information on animal issues affecting the city, county, and state

  • Physical site that could be used by other animal service groups for trainings, rescue events, etc

SJAL is dedicated to the welfare of companion animals in San Juan county, New Mexico. Our goals include:

  • Improving companion animal health by providing low-cost vaccinations

  • Reducing the number of homeless pets through education and spay/neuter

  • Ending euthanasia of healthy, adoptable pets by ensuring affordable spay/neuter is available to all San Juan County residents
