San Juan Animal League partners with a local veterinarian to evaluate and provide emergency assistance.  You must use one of the vets that partners with the San Juan Animal League.

If you have an emergency, please read carefully to see if your pet qualifies for this funding.

EMERGENCY IS DEFINED AS: traumatic injury, life-threatening issues related to acute conditions (i.e. being shot, hit by a car, etc.).

NOT COVERED: chronic issues (i.e. cancer), vaccinations, spay/neuter, ear conditions, parvovirus, any dental care, rashes, cherry eye, heartworm treatment, torn ACL, and other general health. issues.

IF YOUR PET’S CONDITION QUALIFIES:  Please fill out and submit:  Emergency assistance fund  and then EMAIL sanjuananimalleague@gmail.com to tell us you have submitted the application, a volunteer will contact you as soon as they are able. A volunteer will contact you between 7 am to 7 pm to discuss the next steps in the process. Please remember we are not veterinarians and are unable to answer any questions that are directly related to needed medical care.  If the emergency is after regular business hours, please contact your veterinarian.  Our program does not pay your enitre bill, you WILL be responsible for a portion of the bill.
